Loan Programs: Restore Louisiana Loan Program.

We are pleased to inform you that as of May 1, 2023, the application period for the Small Business Loan Program is open. 

The Small Business Loan Program is a lending program to aid in the recovery of small businesses and nonprofits located in eligible areas affected by 2020-21 disaster events, offering loans to assist disaster-impacted small businesses and non-profits with non-construction expenses. 

To qualify for a loan, businesses and non-profits must meet the following criteria:

  • 1-50 full-time employees (35 hours or more per week)
  • Open and in operation at the time of the disaster event 
  • Minimum $25,000 in annual gross revenues before the disaster event
  • Located in one of the parishes eligible for program participation
  • Experienced either a financial or physical loss as a result of one of 2020-2021 disaster events
  • Have an eligible unmet need after accounting for duplication of benefits

  • Loan Terms:

  • 0% interest rate; 60% of the loan amortized over 7 years; no principal repayment for the first 6 months
  • 60% repayable and 40% forgivable (if requirements are met)
  • Loans from $10,000 to max of $150,000

  • Eligible uses include: 
    working capital, equipment and furniture.
